PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler for preventing an increase in an air leakage quantity, capable of miniaturization, and excellent in the muffling-soundproof function, by maintaining a wire rope insertion hole provided in a muffling door in a substantially uniform size, while sufficiently providing airtightness between a soundproof door and a cylindrical part in a muffling dome.SOLUTION: The muffling dome is constituted of a cylindrical part 1 and soundproof doors 2 and 2 laterally opened-closed by an opening-closing driving device D, and guide rails 3 and 3 having a cross section of a U shape of engaging via a roller 14 with the outer edge of the soundproof doors 2 and 2, are provided in front and in rear of the upper outside of the cylindrical part 1, and lifting guide rails 3' and 3' provided in its central part are constituted so as to descend like a riser by a lifting device C together with the soundproof door. The opening-closing driving devices D and D are provided for driving the soundproof doors 2 and 2 by hydraulic cylinders 37 and 37 via parallel links 36 and 36, and a wire rope insertion hole regulating device E is provided in an upper part of the soundproof doors 2 and 2, and a wire rope rocking preventive device F is provided above its device. |
