PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler that can supply an appropriate amount of combustion air in accordance with a change in a combustion rate while maintaining a stable combustion state.SOLUTION: A proportional control boiler 1 that can continuously change a combustion rate includes; a burner 15 for burning fuel; an air blower 20 that has a fan and supplies combustion air to the burner 15 by rotating the fan; a damper 40 disposed between the burner 15 and the air blower 20 and openable/closable at a predetermined range of an opening; and a control section 71 for controlling the opening of the damper 40 and rotating speed of the fan in accordance with a change in the combustion rate. In a first range of the combustion rate, the control section 71 controls a supply amount of the combustion air by controlling the opening of the damper 40, and in a second range of the combustion rate larger than the first range, the control section 71 fixes the opening of the damper 40 and controls the supply amount of the combustion air by controlling the rotating speed of the fan. |
