PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform temperature control of a reaction fluid during a photochemical reaction in a microchannel reactor to cause the photochemical reaction in the reaction fluid.SOLUTION: A microchannel reactor comprises: a stack 16 including a reaction plate 22 which is formed with a reaction fluid flow channel 20 as a microchannel for allowing a reaction fluid to flow and which has a photocatalyst carried on at least a part of an inner surface of the reaction fluid flow channel 20 and a temperature-regulating plate 26 which is stacked on the reaction plate 22 and which is formed with a temperature-regulating flow channel 24 for allowing a temperature-regulating fluid to flow in order to control a temperature of the reaction fluid; and a light source plate 18 stacked on the stack 16 so that light is allowed to outgo in order to cause a photochemical reaction in the reaction fluid and the outgoing light comes into a reaction flow channel 38 of the reaction fluid flow channel 20. |
