PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinder capable of shortening a truing time of a grindstone.SOLUTION: The grinder for grinding a workpiece W by controlling movement of a grindstone 32 in the X-direction and in the Z-direction includes a truing device 62 for truing a processing surface of the grindstone 32 by being disposed on a prescribed position. The truing device 62 includes a movable base 70 disposed movably in the X-direction with respect to a support medium 42, a truer 77 disposed on the movable base 70 rotatably, for truing the grindstone 32, an X-direction pressing mechanism 62 for pressing the truer 77 in the X-direction together with the movable base 70, and a drive mechanism 78 for driving rotatively the truer 77. |
