PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation of a reference mark.SOLUTION: A linear encoder device includes: a synchronous signal generation unit for generating a periodical synchronous signal in synchronization with a travel distance when a first sensor travels along a linear scale based on a signal output by the first sensor provided against the linear scale; a reference signal generation unit for generating a pulse signal showing that a reference mark is detected based on a signal output by a second sensor provided with the first sensor; and a standard position detection unit for generating a standard position signal showing that a predetermined standard position is detected when the synchronous signal changes into a predetermined value after the reference signal generation unit generates a pulse signal. |
