<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus index calculation device capable of calculating a focus index for adjusting a focus of an imaging part with high accuracy, an image processor, a computer program and a focus index calculation method.SOLUTION: The focus index calculation device includes an acquisition part for acquiring a license plate image composed of a plurality of pixels, a reference pixel determination part for determining a plurality of reference pixels among pixels of the license plate image acquired by the acquisition part, an evaluation pixel determination part for determining a plurality of evaluation pixels different from the reference pixels among the pixels of the license plate image, and an index calculation part for calculating a focus index by using the reference pixels determined by the reference pixel determination part and the evaluation pixels determined by the evaluation pixel determination part.</p> |
