<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display three-dimensional (3D) heart chamber characteristics by transforming them into a two-dimensional (2D) map.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional (3D) map is generated by forming a mesh based on a plurality of characteristic points of a 3D heart chamber having an opening bounded by a perimeter; and then the mesh is displayed through projection of the perimeter onto an interior of a closed two-dimensional (2D) map having the interior. The two-dimensional (2D) map is, e.g., circular, and rotatable about a certain rotation axis so as to present a perspective view.</p> |
