The invention concerns a method for producing an assembly (50) of particles (4) linked by a substrate (38), comprising the following successive steps: - producing a compact film of solid particles (4) floating on a carrier liquid (16), the solid particles optionally holding objects (80) between them; - spraying particles onto the face of the compact film opposite that which is immersed in the carrier liquid (16), in such a way as to create a layer forming a substrate (38) adhering to the solid particles (4); and - extracting the obtained assembly (50) out of the carrier liquid (16).
