The invention relates to an apparatus for measuring sensory thresholds in the laryngeal/pharyngeal tract of a patient. In particular, the apparatus of the invention is associated with means for measuring the distance and angle of an endoscope structure, and control means comprising the regulation of a pulse of pressurised water or air on the laryngeal/pharyngeal mucosa. The control means comprise a connection to a pulse generator formed by a controller and a solenoid valve that regulates the opening of the air or water passage. The aim of the invention is to provide accuracy in the measurement and inclination of the endoscope for supplying a train of pressurised water or air pulses for the endoscopic examination of sensory thresholds of the laryngeal/pharyngeal reflexes related to swallowing or breathing.
