<p>Provided are a packet processing method and a cascade chip. The method comprises: a front-end chip in cascade chips adding identification information to a packet that needs a rear-end chip of the front-end chip to perform service processing, and sending the packet to which the identification information has been added to a next cascade chip; and the next cascade chip processing the received packet according to the identification information. The present invention solves a problem in the prior art of a high development cost caused by continuous increase of services, and reduces the chip development complexity and development cost.</p> |
