PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cluster state monitor which allows for detection of the deterioration of a cluster in a state capable of power generation.SOLUTION: A cluster state monitor 100 divides a solar cell string 10S equally into a plurality of clusters 12 consisting of a plurality of solar cells 11, and detects abnormal voltage drop where a cluster voltage, i.e., the voltage between the terminals of respective clusters 12, has dropped exceeding a reference voltage drop &Dgr;K per unit time. Since a cluster 12, where the detection frequency of abnormal voltage deop has exceeded a reference frequency, is determined as an abnormal cluster 12, deterioration of a cluster 12 in a state capable of power generation can be detected. |
