PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solar battery capable of manufacturing a solar battery which is excellent in photoelectric conversion efficiency by preventing bleeding of an electrode on a light receiving surface side.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a solar battery includes a first step in which an impurity element of a second conductive type is diffused on one surface side of a semiconductor substrate of a first conductive type which is a light receiving surface side, to form an impurity diffusion layer on the one surface side of the semiconductor substrate, a second step in which the light receiving surface side electrode that is electrically connected to the impurity diffusion layer is formed on the one surface side of the semiconductor substrate, and a third step in which a rear surface side electrode that is electrically connected to the other surface side of the semiconductor substrate is formed on the other surface side of the semiconductor substrate. The second step includes a fourth step in which a peeling layer is formed on a region outside a print region where an electrode material paste for forming the light receiving surface side electrode on the one surface side of the semiconductor substrate is printed, with a gap between the print region and the peeling layer, a fifth step in which the electrode material paste is printed in the print region, a sixth step for removing the peeling layer, and a seventh step in which the electrode material paste is baked to form the light receiving surface side electrode. |
