METHOD OF PRODUCING WOODY FIBER BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a woody fiber board by which woody fiber and powdered resin that are included in a fiber mat can be evenly mixed and water resistance of the woody fiber board can be certainly secured.SOLUTION: The method of producing a woody fiber board includes: a laminating step of forming a laminate 3 by supplying powdered resin 2 from a resin supply part D2 onto woody fiber 1; a fibrillating step of obtaining a fiber mat 4 by fibrillating the laminate 3 with a fibrillating cylinder S; and a molding step of producing a woody fiber board by performing thermocompression molding of the fiber mat 4. The quantity of the powdered resin 2 supplied in the laminating step is larger than content of the powdered resin 2 which should be included in the fiber mat 4, and the fiber mat 4 is provided by scattering the excessive powdered by fibrillation in the fibrillating step.
