<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tumble accident due to a ride from the opposite direction and so on, to make a handrail belt easy to grip, and to clean guide rollers for handrail belt.SOLUTION: On overall-length surfaces of handrail belts 6 of a first escalator 1A and a second escalator 1a, print sheets on which direction display marks 6A differing in color, substantially as wide as surface flat parts, and indicating rotating directions thereof are printed and displayed at intervals are stuck, and direction display marks 6A of adjacent handrail belts 6 are given a position shift distance in front-rear directions. Further, there is employed a polyester-based urethane resin material such that surface layers of the print sheets are higher in friction coefficient and viscosity than surface layers of the handrail belts 6, and cleaning is carried out through processes of adsorbing and transferring dirt components on surfaces of guide rollers to the print sheets while the handrail belts 6 and print sheets 6AA are rotated, and artificially wiping the transferred dirt components away in an ongoing way.</p> |
