摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fuel consumption amount of an engine and decrease nitrogen oxide in such a degree as one in which a horse power and a torque are not decreased under a normal compression ratio of the engine without using the engine of high compression under a long stroke.SOLUTION: A multi-cylinder engine is provided with an engine cylinder acting as a power force and an exhaust gas compression cylinder for inputting and compressing exhaust gas. Air intake and fuel injection are carried out at an intake stroke of a piston in the engine cylinder, exhaust gas of maximum volume in the cylinder is compressed from its adjoining exhaust gas compression cylinder when the piston is placed near the dead center point, the pressure within the cylinder after injection of the compressed exhaust gas into the engine cylinder becomes two times, the compression is carried out by the piston to cause its value to become the same compression ratio of 15 to 20 while its normal compression ratio of the engine is in a range from 9 to 11, a spark plug carries out ignition and explosion, combustion and exhaust to drive the engine.</p>
