<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal blind extremely excellent in shielding.SOLUTION: A horizontal blind comprises: a plurality of first and second ladder cords 5, 6 which are suspended from a head box 3, and comprises a plurality of weft threads between a pair of warp threads; bottom rails which are arranged at bottom edges of the ladder cords; a plurality of stages of slats 9 which are supported by the plurality of weft threads of the ladder cords; first and second lifting cords 13, 14 which are suspended from the head box, and support the bottom rails; and lifting means for lifting the bottom rails, in which the first ladder cord has a first connection part which is slidably inserted into the first ladder cord, the second ladder cord has a second connection part, and has at least one feature of the following. (1) A range in which the second lifting cord is movable in a longitudinal direction in the second connection part is larger than a range in which the first lifting cord is movable in the longitudinal direction in the first connection part. (2) The weft thread 5b of the first ladder cord is shorter than the weft thread 6b of the second ladder cord.</p> |
