The invention relates to a preparation that is used on textile surfaces, woven fabrics, scrims, knitted fabrics, fibers, nonwoven fabrics, and knits and exhibits a water-repellent effect thereon. The invention further relates to a method for producing the preparation and to the use of the preparation including the textiles thus obtained.
