PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular rotating electrical machine that can detect disconnection of a power ground terminal in the case where the power ground terminal and a control ground terminal are grounded separately.SOLUTION: A vehicular rotating electrical machine 100 includes: MOS module groups 3A, 3B and an H bridge circuit 5 which, as a power system circuit, have power elements and are grounded via a power ground terminal PGND; a control circuit 8, an input/output circuit 9, etc. which, as a control system circuit, control the power system circuit and are grounded via a control ground terminal CGND; and a PGND disconnection detection section 81 for monitoring a potential of the power ground terminal PGND relative to a potential of the control ground terminal CGND, and when a potential difference therebetween leaves a first voltage range, detecting disconnection of a grounding harness 320 connected to the power ground terminal PGND. |
