PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a two-dimensional address of a large-sized picture display device.SOLUTION: A picture display device attached with an automatic address function includes: a plurality of control devices that are arranged in a matrix form: picture data transmission wiring that performs a multi-drop connection of the plurality of control devices; and data transmission wiring that performs a mutual daisy chain connection of the control device arranged at a final row. When an automatic address process is started, the control device (0,m-1) is configured to: read an address (X,Y); prepare an address (X+1,Y+0) to transmit the address through the data transmission wiring; when a timeout occurs, transmit the address (X+0,Y+0) to the control display arranged at the same column connected by address transmission wiring; when receiving the address (X+0,Y+0) through address return wiring, update a current address to the address (X+0, Y+1); and transmit the updated address (X+0,Y+1). |
