<p>The present invention relating to a door-lock apparatus for a washing machine comprises: a body (10); a cover (20); a locker (30); a gear unit (40); and a driving motor (50). The body (10) installed on the side of a body (1) of the washing machine where a door (2) of a drum type washing machine is contacted includes an inner space (11) and has the surface opened. The cover (20) covers the surface of the body (10), and the locker (30) installed in the inner space (11) slides back and forth to make its one end protrude towards the outside of the body (10). The gear unit (40) installed in the inner space (11) rotates by joining with the locker (30) through a gear. The driving motor (50) installed in the inner space (11) rotates by combining with the gear unit (40) through a gear. The gear unit is a planetary gear assembly including a sun gear, planetary gear, and a ring gear to rotate while reducing the speed compared to the rotation speed of the driving motor (50).</p> |
