PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that can obtain a natural composite image by smoothly connecting borders of images when composition using three or more images is carried out and can be made smaller in circuit scale and smaller in processing delay.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing apparatus including: an LPF 40 which subjects to LPF selection information in which identification values identifying N (N: natural number of 3 or larger) images photographed with different exposure amounts respectively are defined within a range from zero as a lower-limit value to a numeral obtained by multiplying a predetermined number A by N-1 as an upper-limit value and selection values each indicative of one of the identification values for identifying the N images respectively are defined corresponding to the respective images; and a WDR composition part 50 which performs, on each pixel, a selection process of selecting two images out of the N images on the basis of a selection value defined in the selection information having have been subjected to the LPF and a composition process of putting together corresponding pixels of the two images. |
