PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio detector capable of improving detection efficiency by including impulse UWB with a low voltage wave height, conventionally not included as a detection object, as a detection object.SOLUTION: A radio detector 1 for detecting impulse UWB includes: a low noise amplifier 3; an envelope detector 4; a voltage current converter 5; a capacitor 6; a comparator 7 for comparing the amount of output current charged in the capacitor 6 within a unit time and a predetermined threshold value; an output unit 8 for outputting digital data by performing a waveform shaping, which outputs 1 if a charged amount of current is equal to or above the threshold value, and outputs 0 if the charged amount of current is less than the threshold value, as a comparison result by the comparator 7; and a discharger 9 for driving a reset switch 10, for discharging the capacitor 6, triggered with output of the output unit 8 or a predetermined detection time. |
