PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accommodation of empty pot seedling boxes while being orderly piled up in a high capacity empty box housing container.SOLUTION: A transplanter 10 of the present invention comprises an empty box housing container 13 which accommodates pot seedling boxes 1 and which is disposed beyond a guide frame 17 for transporting the pot seedling box 1 one by one. The empty pot seedling box 1, which goes out from the guide frame 17, is allowed to fall into the empty box housing container 13. The transplanter 10 comprises a gate section 18 which is formed at an intermediate portion in an empty box piling direction in the empty box housing container 13 so that each of the pot seedling boxes 1 intended to pass therethrough is allowed to temporarily stop in a prescribed posture for empty box piling, and a gate driving section 19 which is formed so that an operation of the gate section 18 for the pot seedling box 1 intended to be allowed to temporarily stop is performed at a timing at which the following pot seedling box 1 to follow the concerning pot seedling box 1 is disposed at a prescribed position P on the guide frame 17. |
