PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key management device that can make evident who and where changes a key and performs more secure change management on the key.SOLUTION: A key management device is provided with a change-time insertion opening 30 provided below a key retaining panel 2, and a change unit 31 incorporated in the key management device. The change unit 31 is provided with an engagement member which is engaged with a holder body of a key holder 1 inserted into the change-time insertion opening 30, and driving means of driving the engagement member. When an unlocking operation to enable a holder arm 11 to be freely attached to and detached from the holder body of the key holder 1 is performed, the driving means engages the engagement member with the holder body so as to restrain the holder body from being drawn out of the change-time insertion opening 30 until a locking operation for restricting the attachment and detachment of the holder arm 11 is performed. |
