<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device, by which a local terminal does not need to perform a special configuration and operation for reconnecting to a wide area network, and a load on a relay device side in the reconnection, can be reduced and time required for the reconnection can be reduced.SOLUTION: A network selection unit 13 selects a network connection terminal that is communicably connected to a wide area network, out of a plurality of network connection terminals; and determines a communication path between the network connection terminal and a local terminal. A network connection monitoring unit 14 monitors whether the network connection terminal is communicably connected to the wide area network. If the network connection monitoring unit 14 determines that the connection is impossible, the network selection unit 13 performs the selection again from out of the other network connection terminals which are connected to the network connection unit 12.</p> |
