<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment system capable of stably treating wastewater with high efficiency while preventing increase in the size and running cost of a water treatment unit.SOLUTION: A wastewater treatment system for purifying wastewater that contains organic substance, by removing the organic substance from the wastewater, comprises: an aeration unit 100 that volatilizes and removes a portion of the organic substance contained in the wastewater by contacting the wastewater with a gas; a concentration unit 200 that is connected to the aeration unit and that adsorbes the organic substance when brought into contact with the wastewater containing organic substance, and that comprises an adsorption element that desorbes the adsorbed organic substance when brought into contact with a steam and that desorbes the adsorbed organic substance from the adsorption element by supplying a steam to the adsorption element and discharges a gas containing the steam and desorbed organic substance of a concentration higher than the concentration of organic substance in the treatment water; and a burning unit 300 that burns the aeration gas discharged from the aeration unit to oxidatively decompose the organic substance and discharges a clean gas.</p> |
