PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode collector for a lithium metal secondary battery, capable of suppressing dendrite precipitation of metal lithium and to provide a process of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The negative electrode collector for a lithium metal secondary battery is a negative electrode collector used for a lithium metal secondary battery and includes: a base material layer formed from a conductive material; and a coating layer coated on a surface of the base material layer. The coating layer is formed with vinylene carbonate or a reduction product material of the same.
