<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure safety of movement by detecting an obstacle ahead in the traveling direction when the user is moving such as walking or running while operating or browsing a portable terminal.SOLUTION: An obstacle detection device 10 includes: a display for accepting an input operation performed by a user; first detection means 300, 310 and 320 for detecting a portable terminal carrying state of a user; second detection means 400 and 410 for detecting whether an obstacle is present in a detection area or not; and warning notification means 500 for warning the user when it is detected that the portable terminal is of being operated or browsed by the user by the first detection means 310 and the presence of the obstacle is detected by the second detection means.</p> |
