摘要 An opto-electric hybrid access device initialization method and apparatus, relating to the field of communications. The opto-electric hybrid access device initialization apparatus comprises: a passive optical network ONU module connected to an optical line terminal (OLT) and to a multi-user-interface unit module; the multi-user-interface unit module comprises a plurality of ports, each port corresponding to an electrical interface, and a power supply and monitoring module being connectedly provided between the ports and the electrical interfaces; the power supply and monitoring module monitors in real time the power supply reversal state of each electrical interface; a processing module which, when an electrical interface experiences a power supply reversal, enables the initialization capability of the port corresponding to said electrical interface, and which, when an electrical interface does not experience a power supply reversal, disables the initialization capability of the port corresponding to said electrical interface. The opto-electric access device initialization method and apparatus reduce the overall power consumption of an opto-electric access device in a working state.
