<p>PURPOSE: In the wireless telecommunications system, by forming a demapper including the linear portion and correction the input metric formation apparatus and method of decoder supplement the HARQ performance degradation at the low SNR domain of the piecewise linear demapper. CONSTITUTION: A linear part(410) calculates the linear component of the demodulated received signal. A correction part(420) respectively calculates the first of the demodulated received signal as described above and second non-linearity. Correction revises the first and second non-linearity according to the output of the linear portion. Correction comprises a first nonlinear component calculator(421) calculating the first nonlinear component value in the demodulated received signal as described above.</p> |
