<p>In certain embodiments, systems and methods may authorize an online transaction over a data communications network, including receiving a request for a transaction from a user via the network where the transaction request relates to a purchase order. Some embodiments include receiving a user identifier, determining if the user identifier provides sufficient information about an identity of said user to fulfill the transaction, requesting additional user identifiers until it is determined that there is sufficient information to fulfill the transaction, and authorizing the transaction if there is sufficient information for transaction fulfillment.</p> |
