PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period of operation with the maximum power consumption.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes detection means and frequency control means, activates power saving control, and performs information processing. The detection means detects an operation idle time of a processor generated by job scheduling. The frequency control means sets an operating frequency of the processor at the time of job execution of a job to be executed immediately before generation of the operation idle time to be lower than a maximum frequency. Then, the frequency control means lowers the operating frequency until an execution time of the job is extended at an execution start time of a waiting job in the range of the operation idle time. |
