PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid heater which can speed-up shutdown of energization to an electric heater by energization shutdown means at the time of abnormality where a heating halt function is inoperable while preventing a malfunction in which energization to the electric heater is erroneously shut down by the energization shutdown means at the time of normality where the heating halt function is operable.SOLUTION: A liquid heater includes energization shutdown means 40 which shuts down energization to an electric heater 6 when heated to more than the overheat prevention preset temperature set to be higher than the heating halt preset temperature due to heat transfer from a storage container 1. A heater pressing member 7 includes a contact part 7d which is brought into contact with the outer surface of a bottom part 1B of the storage container 1 in a state where the heater pressing member 7 holds and fixes the electric heater 6 between the outer surface of the bottom part 1B of the storage container 1 and itself. The energization shutdown means 40 is arranged in a state where the energization shutdown means 40 is abutted on the contact part 7d of the heater pressing member 7. |
