PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fallopian tube access catheter capable of constituting a reliable introduction path to the fallopian tube for guiding a fallopian tube endoscope or the like, capable of securing a large inside diameter by enlarging the diameter with respect to a diameter insertable into the fallopian tube, reducing transfusion pressure, and capable of performing transfusion to the fallopian tube while preventing leakage thereof from an ostium of the fallopian tube by closing the ostium of the fallopian tube.SOLUTION: A fallopian tube access catheter C1 is primarily composed of a long and flexible tube body 10 insertable into the uterus and includes an introduction path (11+41b) passing through the tube body and opened to the distal end. At the distal end, a distal outer peripheral surface 41a, the outer diameter of which decreases as it heading for the distal end, is circumferentially provided around the introduction path. The distal outer peripheral surface is brought into close contact with the inner peripheral surface that is narrowed as it heading for the depth of the ostium of the fallopian tube to close the ostium of the fallopian tube, and further can lock the distal end to the ostium of the fallopian tube, with the introduction path connected to the fallopian tube. |
