PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to exhibit a strong engaging force with respect to an empty recovery container, and to reduce the engaging force with respect to a recovery container which is full of developer, thereby enabling easy replacement of the recovery container.SOLUTION: A locked part 53 is engaged with a locking pawl 43 to position and retain a recovery toner container 10 at a predetermined position of a container housing part 50. The container housing part 50 guides the recovery toner container 10 so as to be drawn. The container housing part 50 dents a depth side in draw-out direction as a weight of the recovery toner container 10 increases, while maintaining a height position at the front of the draw-out direction of the recovery toner container 10, to release the engagement between the locked part 53 and the locking pawl 43. A cover member 62 is formed of a rubber material, to support a bottom face of the recovery toner container 10, in a cantilever manner, along the draw-out direction of the recovery toner container 10. |
