摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rare-earth sintered magnet which improves moldability in a molding step and lubricity of a metal mold more than a conventional manufacturing method and further is capable of improving process efficiency by eliminating the need of a decarbonization treatment for removing a solvent.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a rare-earth sintered magnet by molding alloy powder for the rare-earth magnet within a magnetic field by uniaxial pressurization after filling a cavity formed from a melt mold and a lower punch, and then implementing heat treatment thereon includes: in metal molding within the magnetic field, spraying a liquid-state metal mold lubricant over the metal mold as particles of which the average particle size is 1 to 50 μm, the liquid-state metal mold lubricant being composed of alcohol in 90 to 99.5 mass% of which the fusion point is 15°C or lower and the steam pressure at 20°C is 1kPa or lower and fatty acid in 0.5 to 10 mass% of which the carbon number is 10 to 24 and the fusion point is 30°C or higher; then filling the cavity with the alloy powder for the rate-earth magnet; obtaining a compact by molding within the magnetic field; and then implementing heat treatment of the compact.
