PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit original data by using an e-mail.SOLUTION: An image editing apparatus comprises: a data division unit 153 for dividing an image of original data into plural areas; an area identification unit 155 which associates identification information for identifying each of the divided plural areas, with each of the plural areas; an editing image generation unit 157 which generates editing images in each of which a dividing image surrounding each of the areas and an image of the identification information of the area are arranged for each of the areas in the image of the original data; an editing e-mail transmission unit 159 for transmitting an editing e-mail including the editing image; an editing execution unit 167 which, on the basis of an editing instruction identified from a return mail returned in response to the editing e-mail, generates edited data obtained by updating the original data; and an output unit 171 for outputting the edited data. |
