<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow, in an engine device of a work machine, maintaining a stable low idle state by preventing the generation of black smoke or engine stall due to an increase in hydraulic load in the low idle state.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises an engine 7, hydraulic sources 31 and 32 rotationally driven by the engine 7, a work section driven by hydraulic fluid supplied from the hydraulic sources 31 and 32, a fuel injection device to inject fuel to the engine 7, an engine rotation sensor to detect an engine speed, a ROM to pre-store an output characteristic map that shows a relationship between an engine speed and a fuel injection amount, and a controller 102 to control operation of the fuel injection device based on the output characteristic map. The controller 102 is configured to temporarily correct the output characteristic map so that the maximum fuel injection amount in the low-speed rotation region of the engine 7 increases, when an engine speed N drops due to an increase in engine load while the engine 7 rotates at a low speed.</p> |
