<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer carrying out both peeling and cutting which prevents wasteful issuance of labels.SOLUTION: In a printer 1 carrying out both peeling and cutting, when presence of a mount PM is detected by a mount presence/absence detection sensor 13c arranged in a sheet passing route 12b guiding the mount PM to a mount delivery port 5b, a cutting operation in a cutter unit 17 is inhibited even when printing issuance is being carried out in a state where a cutting mode is set in an input part 7. When a treatment mode other than cutting mode, e.g. a peeling mode, has been already set in the input part 7, the setting, or change, from the treatment mode to the cutting mode is inhibited.</p> |
