[Problem] To provide an apparatus and a method for producing fuel cell separator assemblies which enable electrical resistance between fuel cells to be satisfactorily suppressed. [Solution] The present invention involves a method for producing a fuel cell separator assembly (12) having a joining step wherein convex sections that face each other in convex-concave locations of separators (13, 14) are brought into contact by a pressing member (220), and joined by a welding robot (250). In the joining step, elastic members (230) are disposed between the pressing member and the separators, and a pressing force is applied from a first separator side and/or a second separator side, and the convex sections that face each other are brought into contact due to elastic deformation of the elastic members. |
