An overcurrent blocking apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a switch unit that is connected between both ends of a secondary battery and is turned on by a pressure according to a swelling phenomenon appearing in the secondary battery; and a fusing unit that is a component installed in a path of a current flowing through the secondary battery, and blocks the current flowing through the secondary battery by being broken when the switch unit is turned on. According to an aspect of the present invention, the overcurrent blocking apparatus is turned on according to the swelling phenomenon of the secondary battery caused by a short circuit and the like, and can block an overcurrent by causing a connecting component installed in the path of the current flowing through the secondary battery to be quickly broken. Accordingly, safety in using the secondary battery can be ensured. |
