<p>Provided are a method and system for processing a public safety communication. The method comprises: a source D2D device sending a public safety communication request to a target D2D device over a public safety spectrum; the source D2D device and the target D2D device performing mutual authentication/authorization over the public safety spectrum; and in the case where mutual authentication/authorization has been passed, the source D2D device and the target D2D device performing public safety communication over the public safety spectrum. By means of the present invention, the problems of non-uniform technologies for realizing public safety networks, poor interoperability, and high network loads which exist in the related art are solved, thereby achieving an effect that using D2D to realize public safety communication can not only reduce the network load, but can also improve the robustness of public safety communication.</p> |
