<p>The present invention relates to a tool condition monitoring system of machine tools capable of determining abnormality status of tool conditions by checking wear, collision or damage conditions per tool used by machine tools in real time and a method thereof, and provides a tool condition monitoring system of machine tools characterized by comprising ; an information inputting system per tool to input information per tool including tool types of machine tools and detailed information of each tool; and a detection unit of workloads to detect instantaneous workloads of a work tool; and a setting unit of threshold ranges to set an upper limit value range and a lower limit value range from preset threshold values based on the inputted information per tool; and a determining unit of tool use conditions to determine the use condition status of tools by respectively comparing the detected instantaneous workloads, the upper limit value range and the lower limit value range; and a tool replacement unit to replace work tools or suspend tool works when the tool use conditions are determined by the tool condition determining unit to have deviated from the upper limit value and the lower limit value ranges; and a tool condition display unit to display a use condition of work tools according to the tool condition determining unit.
