PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation resistant body for a balance into which a timepiece oscillator is assembled.SOLUTION: An oscillation resistant device 111 includes an oscillation resistant body 11 for a balance 6 into which an oscillator 8 is assembled. The oscillation resistant body 11 is installed by being slid in a hole on a balance receiver 2. The oscillation resistant body 11 includes: a shoulder 11c that corporates with a first shoulder 102a in order to stop the oscillation body 11 in an axial direction directly or through an elastic element such as an electric washer 14; a guide part 11a for installing the oscillation body 11 to the balance receiver 2; and a fastening element 13 for the outside end part of a spiral spring 5 of the oscillator 8.
