The present invention relates to a ternary elastic copolymer and a method for producing the same, wherein the ternary elastic copolymer includes a long chain branch which simultaneously has excellent processability and elasticity (flexibility) and is obtained under the presence of a group 4 transition metal catalyst. The ternary elastic copolymer is a copolymer of ethylene, C3 to 20 alpha olefin, and diene, wherein i) a weight average molecular weight measured through GPC is 100,000 to 500,000, and ii) x which is the content (wt%) of ethylene and y which is the density value (g/cm^3) of the copolymer measured when the content of ethylene is x satisfy 0.0000175214x(x-75.65420571)+0.875<= y <=0.0000175214x(x-75.65420571)+0.881. |
