LIFT CREATION BY ISOLATED DISC

FIELD: aircraft engineering.SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in lift creation by disc rotation. Note here that one of spinning disc surfaces are isolated from undisturbed airflow by fixed isolator composed of barrel aligned with the disc. Said disc is placed in said barrel to get the difference between barometric pressure of undisturbed airflow acting on isolator and static pressure of the flow over spinning disc surface not covered by isolator. Disc spinning inside isolator is carried out so that their mutual axial run in bearings is ruled out. Said media are separated by seals. Reactive and gyroscopic moments are equalised by another pair "disc-isolator" fitted on one axle with the first one.EFFECT: aircraft lift development.3 dwg
