<p>The present invention relates to an indirect heating-type X-ray tube. The indirect heating-type X-ray tube comprises: a cathode part that emits thermal electrons; an anode part that generates X-rays through the collision of the thermal electrons emitted from the cathode part; and a glass tube that is open at one side, and is equipped with the cathode part in an empty space prepared in the middle. The cathode part comprises: an electrode that receives power from the outside; a filament that receives a current from the electrode and emits infrared rays; a protection part that has a coating part, which is heated by the infrared rays emitted from the filament and emits thermal electrons, and protects the filament from the collision of ions; a focusing lens that guides the thermal electrons emitted from the coating part towards the anode part, and focuses electron beams generated at the coating part; at least one second wire that is connected to the focusing lens and the protection part; and at least one first wire that is connected to the focusing lens and the glass tube. As a result, the indirect heating-type X-ray tube prevents the filament from being damaged by the collision of ions, thereby having a longer lifespan than a direct heating-type X-ray tube and emitting stable X-rays.</p> |
