<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission for actualizing a high-efficiency and low-noise configuration by reducing the eccentricity of an output element of a planetary gear mechanism to a transmission case.SOLUTION: The automatic transmission includes a planetary gear mechanism 28 having a rear sun gear SR or a ring gear as an input element rotatably provided in a transmission case 12, and a front carrier CF1 as an output element, and configured to transmit power between the rear sun gear SR or the ring gear and the front carrier CF1 at a variable speed. The front carrier CF1 is rotatably supported on the transmission case 12, not via a spline joint part, by a ball bearing 36 as a rolling bearing.</p> |
