PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decontaminating a radioactive material in which the decontamination effect is enhanced by employing a removing means for directly washing by mixed gas jet of compressed air and high pressure water.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for decontaminating a radioactive material in which a radioactive material in a decontamination object having the radioactive material such as cesium attached thereto is removed. In this method, the radioactive material attached to the decontamination object is removed by a removing means for directly washing by mixed gas jet of compressed air and high pressure water. The decontamination effect of the radioactive material is enhanced by mixing powder media into the compressed air. The radioactive material is evenly removed by utilizing a flat nozzle for a mixed gas jet washing machine. |
