PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing an existing circular water conduit with a metallic grating, in which the grating is removed without breaking a concrete member at a position in the vicinity of an opening part for the grating, a traffic accident is not caused by the jumping-up of the grating, noise is not generated by looseness, fixation does not come off due to the rusting of the grating, a repair cost is not increased, sufficient catchment force and drainage force can be secured, and preferred appearance can be achieved.SOLUTION: A method for repairing an existing circular water conduit includes a step of removing a metallic grating and a step of fitting and fixing a linear slit forming member. The method is characterized as follows: the linear slit forming member is formed in a width mountable in a recessed groove strip; a linear slit is provided in a discontinuous state; a joining part is formed between the end parts of the linear slit; notches for adhesive injection are formed at both ends in the width direction; and a fixing step is configured by mounting the linear slit forming member, and then injecting adhesives and fixing it to the existing circular water conduit. |
